How it works

Submit Your Idea: Share your innovative food business idea or existing food business by filling out the entry form. Both aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply.
Selection Process:
Two Finalists: Chosen by the event organizers.
Third Finalist: Selected by the community through a voting form.
Boost Your Chances: Increase your likelihood of becoming a semi-finalist by sharing the voting form on social media.
Pitch Event: On the day of the event, finalists will present their pitches to a panel of judges. While the judges deliberate on the grand prize winner, viewers will vote for their favorite business. The winner of the community round will receive $1,000.
Evaluation Criteria: To ensure a thorough evaluation of each participant’s ideas and readiness, the entry form will include sections to cover key business aspects.

Important Dates

October 15th: Pitch competition entries close
October 16th: Semi-finalists notified
October 17th: Announce semi-finalists via newsletter and social media; send presentation deck to finalists
October 20th: Open office hours for "pitch-prep" for businesses with a marketing expert
October 30th: Pitch Event
October 31st: Announce winner via newsletter and social media

By applying for the pitch competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Honeycomb will collect entries until Oct. 15th, 2024 and winners will be notified by Oct. 16th, 2024. The winners will be entered into the pitch competition and one winner will be chosen at the event. No purchase necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to apply for the pitch event. Entrants must own a small business and fill out a form before 11:59 pm, Oct. 15th, 2024. Only one entry per person will be accepted. The prize will be awarded to one winner who wins the pitch competition on Oct 30th, 2024. Honeycomb will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. Honeycomb takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise invalid. The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of Honeycomb Credit after the winner has been selected. By submitting an application for this pitch event you are consenting to be contacted by Honeycomb's sales and marketing team. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond Honeycomb Credit’s reasonable control, Honeycomb Credit reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
