Questions
When will the funds be withdrawn from my account?
Your investment and transaction fee will automatically be withdrawn 2-3 business days after you invest and transferred to a secure escrow account. If the campaign is successful, the business then receives their funds and begins the repayment process.

How will I receive repayments from the business?

Your payments will be credited directly to your Honeycomb Wallet. You can transfer your Wallet funds to a bank account of your choice at any time.

What happens if the business does not meet its funding goal?
All investments and fees are returned to you approximately 5 business days after the campaign closes unsuccessfully.
Where can I view my investment and related documents?
You can find your investment in your Honeycomb Investment Portfolio! Navigate to your portfolio by clicking your name in the top right-hand corner of our Live Campaign page. From the dropdown on your account, select “Documents” to view and download a copy of your Investment Agreement.

Of course! You can make a second investment into one campaign, or check out other local businesses currently accepting investors on Honeycomb.

What if I need to cancel my investment?
You can cancel your investment up to 48 hours before the campaign closes. If you’d like to do so, please email support@honeycombcredit.com.
What happens if the business can not repay?
If a business stops making repayments, the loan will be considered to be in default. As an investor, you will then have the opportunity to vote on whether to seek maximum reimbursement, forgive all or part of your remaining loan, or some alternative in between. Some loans will be personally guaranteed by the business’s owners or have collateral which may be used to recover some investor losses in the event of a default.
